WHO IS ON THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE?
WHO OWNS THE CLUB BUILDINGS & LAND?
Ashtead Squash Rackets Club Ltd (ARSC or the Company) owns the land and buildings associated with Ashtead Squash & Tennis Club (the Club), to whom it grants a licence to use the premises.
Club members over 18 years old automatically become members of ASRC, with a personal liability of £2 towards the assets of the Company in the event of it being wound up, so in effect the Club members own the buildings & land.
ASRC is managed by appointed directors who do not get involved in the day-to-day running of the Club but do have an interest in any major Club projects that affect the buildings or land.
As shareholders in ASRC , Club members are eligible to vote on major Club projects or changes to the running of ASRC.
